The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- two pinpoint holes at the upper and lower edges of the composition, presumably caused from the registration of the work.
- backboard-staining and foxing verso (the foxing not visible recto).
- hinged with paper tape in two places at the upper sheet edges verso.
