The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with margins, presumably the full sheet, with a deckle edge at right.
- the colours fresh and bright.
- two pinpoint holes at the extreme left and right of the composition, presumably caused from the registration of the work.
- the upper sheet edge with some pale time-staining.
- occasional and unobtrusive pinpoint foxspots in the margins.
- a very soft and unobtrusive handling crease at the upper left sheet edge, mainly visible in a raking light.
Otherwise as described and in very good condition.
