The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good, some wear to the enamel and some shallow losses, most prevalent to the pendant loop. Reverse with some areas of tarnish to gold. Later brooch fitting. One or two very small splits to collets around ruby cabochons visible upon close inspection
- Pearls: both with good lustre, creamy grey body colour with rose and purple overtones, drop-shaped pearl slightly baroque shaped with flattened back. Round pearl with much more uniform nacre
