The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- presumably the full sheet (Sabatier records sheet dimensions of 1015 x 660 mm.).
- the colours slightly attenuated.
- a thin, horizontal indentation (approximately 50 mm.) in the subject at centre left (mainly visible in a raking light).
- the sheet is spot-glued at various places along the sheet edges verso with associated minor cockling, the reverse therefore unexamined.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
