The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with margins, presumably the full sheet, with a deckle edge below.
- two pinpoint holes at the extreme left and right of the composition, presumably caused from the registration of the work.
- some pale time-staining visible at the sheet edges.
- occasional minor and unobtrusive handling creases in the margins, mainly visible in a raking light.
- a thin vertical line (circa 40 mm.) of stray printing ink at the extreme upper left sheet edge.
Otherwise as described and in very good condition.
