The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged along the upper edge to the backing board and undulates slightly. The sheet is slightly shifted in tone. Small tears and wear are intermittently to the deckled edges. A few pinpoint accretions, faint abrasions and handling marks are occasionally. A few small drip marks are to the lower half, predominantly to the lower right corner, presumably a vestige of the artist's working process. A tiny spot of foxing is to the upper center edge.
