The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
This work has not been examined outside of its strip frame which is affixed with nails to its stretcher. Subtle cracking is visible under close inspection, notably to the upper left and lower center in the dark blue passage. Faint surface scuffs are visible to the edges. A few pinpoint accretions are visible intermittently. Inpainting is visible to the left lower edge.
