The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case is in excellent condition and retains its original bevels. The top of the lug at 5 o'clock has few light scratches. The case is full. The numbers are visible between the lugs and there is light pitting between the lugs as well. The back of the lugs on the six o'clock side have light scratches and on the 12 o'clock side scratches and some light pitting. The back of the lugs show evidence of the bracelet. The case is in good condition with light scratches. The inside of the case back is stamped '5508' and 'II.62' indicating its production in the second quarter of 1962. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The bezel is original and has faded to a light black color. The pip has yellowed with age. The dial is in good condition and appears to be original. The exclamation mark dial indicates there is no radium use on the dial. The dial does not geiger. The luminous material has aged. The hands appear to be early replacements. The bezel has aged slightly and appears to be correct. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
