Overall Condition:
This watercolor painting on paper is in very good condition overall.
Structural Condition:
The primary paper is properly attached to a four ply acid free cotton rag mount with four mulberry tissue hinges; two at the top verso edge and two at the sides. The paper does not present tears, paper losses, or planar distortions.
Visual Condition:
The paper is mildly oxidized from contact with acidic material and a natural process of aging due to light exposure. This is visible throughout. Although some degree of fading is to be expected for a work of this age, the media is well preserved.
