The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- with wide margins, with a deckle edge at right
- a few, small areas of discoloration
- the paper slightly toned at the sheet edges
- a few pale, unobtrusive foxmarks along the margins, mainly at lower left and a 4cm. moisture stain at the lower left sheet edge, some minor surface dirt
- a 3-mm. nick at the upper right sheet edge and a few soft handling creases at the upper left sheet edge
