The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- a few consolidated age cracks, including one that extends from the mouth to the base on one side, the adjacent area to these cracks are lightly sanded
- the base was made with a separate piece of wood and with a consolidated star crack at the center
-a tiny chip to the outer mouth rim, and a few tiny dents/nicks and touch-ups to both mouth and foot rims
- a tiny gauge mark and a few very minor nicks to the inner mouth rim
