The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Left figure per the main illustrated image
- all four legs of the horse have been off and restuck, with associated restoration, cracks and some other restored breaks
- the proper left hind leg of the horse has a crack extending to the base of its body
- the harness and other attributes of the rider are now lost
- as seen in the illustration, there are chips, surface wear, cracks and remnant of pigments
Right figure per the main illustrated image:
- four legs and one ear of the horse, and the proper left arm of the rider have been off and restuck, all with association restoration and cracks
- a few areas of loss, including one horse ear
- as seen in the illustration, there are chips, surfece cracks/scratches, and heavy earth encrustation
- there's remnant of pigments, some of which have been refreshed
