The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvasboard is providing good support and the impasto has been well preserved. There is surface dirt and some varnish discolouration, particularly in the sky and the picture would benefit from a clean.
UV light reveals no signs of damage or restoration.
The picture is presented behind glass in a modern rectilinear frame with a hessian slip.
