The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.


The case is in good condition with light scratches and few small nicks. The case and lugs have been lightly polished. The numbers are visible between the lugs. The top of the lug at 1 o'clock has several small nicks. The back of the lugs have light scratches and show slight evidence of the bracelet. The case back has light scratches throughout. The back edge of the case between 9 and 10 o'clock has a slight indentation. The inside of the case back is stamped '6263.' The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. Both chronograph pushers are later replacements. The bezel insert is a later replacement with a crack between '65' and '70'. The dial is in good condition and appears to be a service replacement. The luminous plots are intact at the hour markers, except for at 2 o'clock. The plots at 3 and 9 o'clock have yellowed with age. The hands have developed patina. The hands appear to be later replacements. The end links are stamped '557' and the bracelet '78350, 19.' The bracelet is marked 'G' and is a later replacement. The bracelet has light scratches throughout. The clasp may have been lightly polished. The chronograph is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
