Lot Essay

Reference 5496 was introduced to the market in platinum at BaselWorld 2011 and replaced the reference 5050, the first perpetual retrograde calendar produced in series. Offered fresh to market and in pristine condition, this example features a Tiffany & Co. signature placed below the aperture for moon phases.

The 5496P was offered in three dial variations, first the matte silver dial (-001) such as the presently offered lot which was launched in 2011, next a pink dial from 2014 (-014), and finally a silvered dial with pink gold markers, date, and hands (-015).
