The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Scattered overall wear to the decoration, stacking wear, crazing (stained in some places) and some small chips to rims and foot rims, additional dimensions and condition notes listed below:
Two tureens and covers with seated sphinx finials, 19 in. (48.2 cm.) high - One cover with a hairline crack to rim (approx. 2 in. long).
One tureen with several short hairline cracks to rim. The other tureen with a loss to the decoration on the underside.
Three bottle coolers, 11 in. (27.9 cm.) high - One with a short hairline crack to rim. One with a large loss to decoration on the underside.
Two two-handled bowls, 11 in. (27.9 cm.) wide - One broken in several pieces and restored. The other with a large chip to one side with a hairline crack extending from it (approx 11⁄2 in.) and a smaller chip on the opposite side with a shorter hairline crack extending from it (approx. 1 in.).
Thirty-four plates, 91⁄2 in. (24.1 cm.) diameter - All with some losses to the decoration, a few more extensive than the others. One broken in half and restored; one with a large crescent-shaped restored break to rim; two with restored cracks to rims. Seven with a few larger rim chips. Fifteen with smaller chips and several hairline cracks to rims - ranging from approx. 1/2 inch to 3 inches long.
Two oval platters, 14 in. (35.5 cm.) long - Each with a few rim chips and some losses to the decoration. One with two long restored cracks.
Fifteen soup plates, 91⁄2 in. (24.1 cm.) diameter - A few with larger chips to rims; one with a restored hairline crack to rim; one with a star crack to the well.
Two large circular platters, 14 in. (35.5 cm.) diameter - Each with some surface scratches; one with a long restored crack to rim (approx. 6 inches) and another curving line to rim (approx. 4 inches); the other with a short hairline crack to rim (approx. 1 inch).
Two circular platters, 121⁄4 in. (31.1 cm.) diameter - Each with some surface scratches; one with a large chip to rim, possibly from an old restoration, and another re-glued rim chip to the opposite side.
