The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
This bronze is in overall good order and ready to place.
The patinated surface of a nice deep bronze lustre. There are traces of rubbing to some high points and wear to the surface, such as a minscule flaked loss to the patination to the female figure's propert right shoulder. The join beneath visible.
The proper left wing of the male figure loose from its joint. It remains connect but could benefit from being further secured.
Ther are traces of dust and dirt to the crevices which could benefit from a gentle cleaning.
The base upon which the sculpture rotates with some surface wear. The brass palque with traces of polish residue.
