The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use.
Marble: There are inevitable chips especially to the edges. There are inevitable stains and scratches to the surface. Some minor elements are missing especially to the corners.
Wood: There are worm holes apparently inactive especially to the stretches. The two front feet are detached. The feet are probably later.
Gilding: There are some wears to the gilding revealing the red bole and white gesso.
