The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Some small scratches and nicks to the metal throughout, consistent with normal wear.
- Additional marks: 750, maker's mark 'RP' for Rolf Pauly, '3.78 or 8.78. 0.65' possibly referring to carat weights.
- Sapphire: measures approximately 13.0 x 10.5 x 6.8 mm, calculated to weigh approximately 9.00 carats (GCS), with few typical natural inclusions, very few surface reaching, a few small scratches to the facets. Also accompanied by a report from the DSEF, 2025, report no. 038962: Sri Lanka, no indications of heating.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 0.50 - 0.60 carat, unable to assess colour and clarity due to mounting, appear well matched.
