Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
A fine layer of surface dust is present. Minor wear, rubbing and a few scuffs are occasional to the corner-tips and turning edges. A few pinpoint losses are near the center upper turning edge. Hadnling marks are occasional, most notably to the upper half of the wood panel. Visible under close inspection, a few pinpoint accretions and fine surface scratches are occasional, most notably to the brown painted passages. Visible under ultraviolet light, a small spot fluoresces darkly to the left of center in a gray painted passage, but does not appear to be inpainting.
