The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound, the rightmost glass, presented as base only, is presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. The cork ball and brass rings are intended to move, and the coral and glass marble are not affixed. Small spots of discoloration and minute losses are occasional. The general wear, cracking, adhesive residue, and surface variation to the interior are in keeping with the artist's choice of medium and working method. Minor wear, accretions, minute losses, and a few abrasions are to the exterior of the wooden box. A hairline crack and a few associated tiny losses are near the lower right corner of the reverse. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
