The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is framed and has been unframed for inspection. Canvas is stable and taut. Faint rubbing marks along the edges. Heavy impasto in very good condition. When examined under UV light, no retouching is apparent. It is in our opinion that the work is in good condition.
