The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
One small beaker vase:
-There are two short hairlines to the mouth rim, and a longer one measuring 4 cm. long.
-There are two small restored areas to the mouth rim, one associated with a short hairline.
-There is a tiny chip to the foot rim.
The other beaker vase:
-There is a V-shaped section to the mouth rim which has been broken off and re-stuck.
-There are several smaller areas to the mouth rim which have been touched up to conceal small chips and losses.
One small vase:
-There is a L-shaped hairline crack extending from the mouth rim, measuring approx. 6 cm. long.
The other small vase and cover:
-There is a large section to the mouth rim which has been broken off and restored, with associated hairlines to the mouth rim and body.
-The cover has a short crack to the inner mouth rim and a tiny glaze chip to the tip of the finial.
-There are two paper labels to the interior of the cover.
The large beaker vase:
-There are large sections to the body and mouth rim which have been broken off and restored, with composite parts and overpainting.
-The cover has been broken into two and restored, with associated restored chips and losses.
