The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
All four small dishes:
-These appear to be in overall fairly good condition apart from general age-related surface wear.
The largest dish:
-There are multiple shallow glaze chips and minor losses to the yellow enamel around the mouth rim.
-There is a tiny chip to the foot rim which has been polished down.
-There is a faint hairline to the mouth rim which is only visible from the exterior, measuring approx. 3 cm. long.
-There is general age-related surface wear.
The small bowl:
- There are two small areas of restoration to the mouth rim.
- There are some minor abrasions to the glaze and some age-related wear.
The stembowl:
- It is in fairly good condition with some age-related wear.
The vase:
- It is in fairly good condition with some age-related wear.
The large bowl:
- Except for a tiny nick to the mouth rim, it is in fairly good condition with minor surface wear.
