A PAIR OF BRONZE VASES
JAPAN, MEIJI PEROD (1868-1912)
Each vase is applied with various metals and incised with flowering prunus branches and incised with bamboo. The bases are incised with five-character marks reading Hirai Chuten cho (carved by Chuten Hirai).
