The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
One dish in very good overall condition. One dish may have had a small shallow impact where the figure in the tribune is sitting with associated hairline cracks visible on both sides (the longest is 8 cm. long). There is some small fritting to the footrim to both dishes. Both with light wear to the enamels and gilding, scratches due to age and use.
