A PALE CELADON JADE ‘DUCKS’ GROUP AND A CELADON AND RUSSET JADE BRUSH REST
CHINA, 19TH CENTURY
The group is carved with two ducks resting on a large lotus leaf above two lotus pods; the stone is of a pale tone with minor russet areas. The brush rest is carved in the form of a five-peaked mountain detailed with pagodas, figures and tall trees; the stone is of a pale tone with russet inclusions.
