We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The pot and cover:
- There are some scratches, rubbings and wear to the surface, as expected with age.
The cover:
- There is a C-shaped hairline crack to the cover, measuring approx. 9 cm long and a few fissures and associated glaze cracks which are only visible on the interior of the cover.
- There is a small shallow hole to the top of the cover, which might have occurred during the manufacturing process.
