The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The jadeite washer:
- There are some chips and losses to the tips of the leafs.
- There is a hairline crack extending from the mouth rim (approx.10 cm. long) which might have been a natural fissure.
- There is a bruised area to the mouth rim with associated fissures.
- There are a few scattered nicks and small chips throughout.
The spinach-green jade water dropper (12 cm. wide)
- One tip of the leaf has been chipped off.
- There is a small chip with an associated short hairline to the edge of the leaf (approx. 0.7 cm.) long.
The jadeite bowl (10 cm. diam.)
- This appears to the in good overall condition.
- The stone has some natural fissures and veins.
All with some natural fissures and veins.
