The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First:
-There is light surface wear.
-"J.A. MANN 76" is carved on the base.
-There is no spoon.
Second:
-There is a minute nick to the inner mouth rim.
-There are some scratches to the body.
-There is a minor glaze gap on the one side of the lower body.
-There are a few nicks to the foot rim.
-There is no spoon.
Third:
-There are areas of light polishing to the mouth.
-One side of the foot has been overpainted.
-The base of the foot has been polished.
-There is no spoon.
Fourth:
-There are a few nicks to the inner and outer mouth rim.
-There are a few glaze burst bubbles.
-There are a few nicks to the inner and outer foot rim.
-There are firing flaws to the base.
-There is no spoon.
Fifth:
-There are a few nicks to the inner and outer foot rim.
-There are scratches on the surface.
-There are nicks and firing flaws to the foot.
-The body has been slightly buffed.
-There is no spoon.
Sixth:
-There is a minute nick to the mouth rim.
-There are a few very minor burst bubbles and pinpricks on the body.
-There is no spoon.
