Details
The first bottle is decorated on one side with a pavilion scene, and the reverse with a magpie standing on blossoming branches, all on a black lacquer ground. The second bottle is decorated on either side with a red lacquer panel containing a landscape and a peony with insects, reserved on a black lacquer ground with floral scroll. Both bottles have an apocryphal Qianlong mark on the base.
