The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First:
-The carving appears to be in overall good condition.
-There is a small chip to the tip of the gourd.
-There are some inclusions which are inherent to the material.

Second:
-There are two chips to the wings of the bat.
-There is a section of loss to the leaf and to the one peach with associated polishing.

Both:
-There are some inclusions which are inherent to the stone.
