We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The bowl on the left of the illustration:
-There is a large section to one side, approx. one third of the bowl, which has been out and restuck, with associated overpainting.
-There is an associated V-shaped section, measuring approx. 4.5 cm., which has been broken into 3 pieces and restuck, with overpainting.
-There are two small chips to the foot rim.
-There is some age-related wear to the gilt decoration, as expected.
The bowl on the right of the illustration:
-There is a restored chip and associated hairline to the mouth rim.
-The rim has been polished slightly.
-There is a shallow chip to one side of the mouth rim.
-There is some age-related wear to the gilt decoration, as expected.
