The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A pair of coffee pots and covers – Overall surface wear and wear to the enamels and gilt decoration. One coffee pot with its handle restored and with associated overpaint to the handle and body. The same with restoration to its spout. Each examined under ultraviolet light.
Twelve plates – Overall with surface wear and wear to the enamels and gilt decoration. With frits, nicks and tiny chips to the rims. Some with shallow slicing chips to the reverse rims. One with an imperfection in the making to the reverse rim near the foot. One with a Y-shaped line and another with a long line to the reverse. Each examined under ultraviolet light.
