Lot Essay

The arms are those of La Touche impaling Trench, for Robert Latouche (1773-1844), of Harristown, co. Kildare and his wife Lady Emily Trench, daughter of William Power Keating Trench, 1st Earl of Clancarty, whom he married in 1810.  He held the office of Member of Parliament of Harristown and later Kildare.
