- separation of the top panels from the frame, and at the joints
- expected minor nicks to edges and surface abrasion
- small loss to the tongue of the top panel
- a ring stain on the top
- a hard wax fill to one transverse stretcher and all transverse stretchers are made in secondary wood which is to be expected
