Audrey Hepburn was photographed wearing this coat crossing the tarmac at an airport circa 1972, the airport is thought to be Ciampino Airport, Rome. We are grateful to Eduardo Damasceno Sousa for advising that this coat actually is from the Givenchy Autumn/Winter 1971/72 haute couture collection and that it was originally part of an ensemble with a skirt with a soft line hem just below the knees.
