The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Each with some overall light wear to the enamels and gilding, additional condition notes and dimensions listed below:
The large powder-blue and gilt example (6 in. high): With some rubbing to the gilding, otherwise good condition.
The celadon-glaze example: With a large X-shaped crack to one side, extending from rim to footrim.
The blanc-de-chine example (31⁄2 in. high): With two rim chips and a chip to the footrim; with a long glaze line encircling its central bulge.
The small powder blue example (43⁄4 in. high): Some rubbing to the gilding; the interior rim unglazed as though it may have taken a cover; a glaze frit to the handle, otherwise nice condition.
The child's mug (23⁄8 in. high): The handle broken in four pieces and re-glued.
The small incurved example (43⁄4 in. high): Good condition.
No further damage apparent under ultraviolet light. Photos available upon request.
