The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Stable condition and ready to place. The columns with several reparied cracks and associated inpainting. with chips, marnls, and small losses to the painted decoration. Some white residue, possibly glue, in spots on both column. Each with a repaired break at seam in lowest quadrant. The gilding worn on both capital and base. Faux porphyry base purposefully distressed, and made to look with natural inclusions. The entablatures in good decorative condition and present well. With some scattered nicks and scratches. The gilt decoration faded in areas, revealing gesso underneath, primarily to corners and extreme edges. With some scattered shrinkage cracks and seperation at seams. Some decorative elements on one slightly loose and would benefit from resecuring.
