The Royal Oak Offshore is a sportier chronograph adaptation of the classic Royal Oak designed by Gerald Genta and introduced in 1972. The Royal Oak Offshore is a robust chronograph with design elements incorporated from the classic Royal Oak, including an octagonal bezel and integrated stainless steel bracelet. Audemars Piguet introduced the Royal Oak Offshore series of chronographs in 1993 to appeal to a younger generation. This example is one of the early ones AP made in the 1990’s.
