The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good condition and ready to place. With the expected scattered light nicks, faint marks and scratches, consistent with age and use. With signs of old, inactive woodworm. With some slight lifting, small losses, restorations and patches to the veneer, such as to the side stretchers, typical with age. Some of the patches appear to be done in walnut. The seat frames with applied canvas strips for support. The back stretcher on one example replaced. The upholstery well maintained and with light scattered staining.
