The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Partially glazed painted terracotta. Some pale surface dirt. A few small areas of surface abrasion and handling marks corresponding to age and handling. A very few scattered small spots of foxing in places, inherent to the firing process. It is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.
Terre cuite peinte partiellement émaillée. Légère salissure de surface. Quelques rares zones d'abrasion de surface et marques dues à la manipulation correspondant à l'âge et la manipulation. Quelques très rares petites piqûres éparses par endroits, inhérentes au processus de cuisson. Selon notre opinion cette œuvre apparait en très bonne condition générale.
