The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- printed from two plates onto to sheets of paper, the sheets joined horizontally together in the middle.
- trimmed on or just inside the platemarks on three sides, with thread margins in places.
- a narrow margin below.
- with the usual, flattened vertical central fold, mostly visible verso.
- a tiny paper loss (circa10 x 2 mm.) at the upper end of the central fold, backed.
- a tiny rust spot, covered with paper fibre recto, at the left sheet edge near the paper-joint.
- a short crease across the lower left sheet corner (circa12 mm. )
- a few tiny nicks at the sheet edges.
- some very minor staining and surface dirt.
Otherwise as described and in very good condition.
