The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- with 6-9 mm. margins on all sides.
- very pale scatttered foxing.
- aa small moisture stain at the upper left sheet corner.
- inscribed 14 in pencil in the lower right sheet corner in the margin.
- hinged along the upper sheet edge verso to a tan wove support sheet, with the Engelmann number and the title in brown ink below.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
