The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with wide margins.
- each sheet in overall very good condition, some with a few tiny holes in the margins.
- three of them with tiny paper losses at the sheet edges (B. 223-24 and 226).
- two plates with two soft oblique folds at the upper left sheet edge (B. 221 and 224).
- occasional pale stains and occasional surface dirt in the margins.
- each sheet with traces of red pigment at the extreme right margin.
Otherwise as described and in very good condition.
