The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- a tiny ink loss at the lower right plate edge.
- a few small stains, mostly visible verso, occasionally showing through recto.
- two tiny paper impurities visible on the woman's face.
- the left sheet edge backed with a narrow strip of brown paper, with some associated, minor staining at the extreme left sheet edge recto.
- inscribed n.126 in pen and brown ink in the lower right margin.
