Lot Essay

After the now legendary 2014 collaboration Roger again joined forces with Michael Jordan in 2017. He would wear the Nike Zoom Vapor Air Jordan 3 Fire Red sneakers during the tournament in New York. Roger defeated home favourite Frances Tiafoe and Russian Mikhail Youzhny in gruelling five set matches in the opening two rounds, before eventually falling to Juan Martin del Potro in the quarter-finals. The Argentinian lost in the semi-finals to Rafael Nadal who captured his third title at Flushing Meadows.
