Splendid livre dartiste with etchings by Mariette Lydis in a Semet et Plumelle crushed black morocco binding.No. 206, one of 290 on Hollande Pannekoek paper of an edition of 350; inscribed by Lydis to Gerard Hupin on the half-title, dated 1935. Printing was done at the presses of A. & F. Debeawe, and the etchings were issued separately in the same year.

Quarto (329 x 250mm). Frontispiece self-portrait of Baudelaire, 33 full-page colored etchings by Lydis, each signed and numbered in pencil by the artist; individual wrappers for the etchings, originally issued separately, bound in at end. Full crushed black morocco gilt by Semet et Plumelle, with gilt sunburst in center and corners of each cover, sunburst design on spine, maroon morocco doublures, all edges gilt, custom chemise and slipcase (top edge of slipcase split).
