The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- trimmed on the platemark below with a fillet of blank paper outside of the subject, trimmed inside the platemark but outside of the borderline at left, trimmed to or just inside the borderline at right, trimmed fractionally into the sheet above, partially made-up with touches of pen and ink to suggest the borderline
- a few skilfully repaired paper splits, mainly in the blank background, also at the right edge of the building at right, a short split through the staff
- a few unobtrusive pinpoint foxmarks
Otherwise as described in the catalogue and generally in good condition.
