Lot Essay

The Ref. 1503, a stylish manual-winding wristwatch, was introduced by Patek Philippe in 1941 and featured a 35 mm. wide, which was quite big for a dress watch in the 1940s. The present example has a restored silvered dial and the longer Patek Philippe & Co. signature, seen on watches made before 1948.
